The basis of the project is the cooperation of SMEs, four experienced companies based in Rijeka, Croatia, in the field of shipbuilding, education and design in maritime affairs.
Design and execution of critical and uninterruptible power supply systems in the maritime sector
Over the past years, the company has gained experience in the successful implementation of three projects co-financed by MINPO:
1. In 2014 - Entrepreneurial Impulse 2014. Strengthening
the competitiveness of small businesses, in the amount of HRK 325,425.01;
In 2014 - SMEPASS 2 - providing advisory services to SMEs, in the amount of HRK 64,715.00;
In 2015 - Exhibition of the new Mini Data Center product, Foreign fairs 2015 in the amount of HRK 32,519.04.
The company has successfully implemented the project of building its own business premises worth HRK 10,216,012.96. Currently, it implements two projects funded by EU funds from the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion, one of which relates to the implementation of ICT systems in the company's business in the amount of HRK 404,500.00, and the other in the internationalization of business through international fairs worth HRK 344,560.00.
Since 2009, the company has an ISO 9001: 2008 certificate for the field of activities: sales, design, installation, service and maintenance of energy and cooling systems for telecommunications and computer centers. Since 2014, it has been certified for the ISO 14001 environmental management system standard and since 2015 for the ISO 27001 information security standard.
Project partner for the development of an application for maritime transport
Sarda d.o.o. was founded in 2010 and today has 6 employees. The main activities of the company are software development and services in the field of security, management and administration of information systems.
Over the years, Sarda d.o.o. specializes in the development of applications to support business processes in maritime and integrated transport. Employees of Sarda d.o.o. are professional, flexible and fast in their work, and their main attributes are simplicity and accessibility.
The company's goal is to maintain a high level of service quality and improve the quality of software using modern software technologies.
Considering that it deals with the development of software to support business processes in maritime and land freight transport, and monitoring the economics of using chartered ships, where one of the components is fuel consumption, ECO SHIP project is compatible with its activities, and allows preparation for expanding the range product.
Project partner for ship systems design
Conmare's area of expertise is design in shipbuilding and, in this sense, the knowledge and experience that the company has gained over the years in the development and implementation of ship systems are a necessary prerequisite for the successful commercialization of the innovative project package.
In addition, the company also has experience in offshore through work on systems on platforms and drilling systems installations as well as participation in projects related to the design of ship systems for the world's largest companies in the field of maritime transport such as Fincantieri, Mega Yacht and Saipem. In recent years, the company has also been engaged as part of a larger team in designing cruisers for the Meyer Werft shipyard.
Project partner for seafarers education
Over the years of successful business, the company has conducted training for more than 17,000 seafarers. It is in possession of ISO 9001/2015 certification relating to the management system
quality as the foundation on which the company builds a system that ensures customer satisfaction and improvement of its own business.
At the same time, the director of the company holds the position of president
of the Association of Croatian intermediaries in the employment of seafarers, which proves his high expertise, and thus the high quality of services provided by the company. The company was also awarded the "Recognition for Contribution to the Development of the Maritime Economy" by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure in 2017.
Swedish Club Academy, as the first initiator of marine resource management training (MRM), has selected the company as one of the first providers of this type of training. All of the above is proof of the company's expertise and the necessary capacity to implement a specially designed training program for seafarers on environmentally friendly vessels, which will be a unique training program on the market.
The company is currently participating in the implementation of projects financed by EU funds in the amount of HRK 1,899,000.00.
